We've discovered that grapes are one of her new favorite food. This girl eats them like they're going out of style!

So we were sitting out in front of the house playing with some toys (that I brought out in a bag) and all of a sudden Emily stands up, grabs the bag like it's her purse, and takes off down the road dragging the bag behind her! (It was a little large for her). She's getting adventurous as she gets older!

Emily's new favorite perch - in the chair, playing with her music table right in front of the window so she can keep an eye on the neighborhood and all the passing dogs (she gets very excited and walks up to the window and bangs on it when a dog walks by).


One morning, I was getting Emily dressed, and she refused to cooperate. So I was going to let her have some diaper time, but she grabbed her socks and kept trying to put them on. So here, she rocks the socks and diaper look!

Snow!

So, now that it's been an entire month since the two blizzards came through our neck of the woods, I finally have photos uploaded and ready to post! Sorry for the delay (mom - i know you've been bugging me to post these! haha)

This is looking down our street - I mostly posted this to show you how big the pile of snow is from the plows


Chris trying to walk through our backdoor - he was up to his hips in the snow, and there was still more snow below his feet!


Chris made it across the backyard to shovel between the backdoor (we couldn't open because of the snow) and the pile of firewood (we had lots of fires in our fireplace!)


We ventured out in it with Emily once, but she definitely isn't a fan of the snow. Maybe next winter!
