Yes, that is my 40 week 2 day pregnant belly sticking OUT of a shirt. Mom and Chris painted it to look like a Pumpkin. (That was my nickname for Emily throughout the pregnancy).

Last night was Chris' work Christmas party. Children were invited, so all three of us went! The food was delicious, and the company was great. I enjoyed dressing up nice and going out with other adults :).

Emily Update

~Emily likes sucking on anything: back of her hand, fingers, mom's fingers, shoulders, clothes
~She has a dimple that appears occasionally when she smiles - we have yet to get a photo of said dimple.
~She has finally realized the joy of not waking up for 4 hours at a time in the middle of the night. Mom and Dad are very thankful!
~She slept in her crib for the first time last Saturday evening! Previously, she had been sleeping in her pack n play next to Mom and Dad's bed. Mom only got out of bed 4 times (aside from feedings) to check on her throughout the night. :)
-Emily loves to put her hands in her face and mouth.

Emily's Birthday!

At 10:18pm on November 4th, little Emily Carol Jones joined our family!! 7 pounds 14 ounces, 19.25 inches. She is the most precious thing alive, and we couldn't be happier with the new addition to our family! Here are a few pictures from her birth day and the hospital stay. There will be many more to come!

Well, our little Pumpkin's due date (October 29th) has come and gone, and still no little one in our arms.

We will have our second ultrasound (anatomy scan) and will be able to learn a lot about our little baby, including whether we're having a boy or girl!

The same day, we close on our first house. We get the keys, and will officially be first time homeowners!
