Emily Update

~Emily likes sucking on anything: back of her hand, fingers, mom's fingers, shoulders, clothes
~She has a dimple that appears occasionally when she smiles - we have yet to get a photo of said dimple.
~She has finally realized the joy of not waking up for 4 hours at a time in the middle of the night. Mom and Dad are very thankful!
~She slept in her crib for the first time last Saturday evening! Previously, she had been sleeping in her pack n play next to Mom and Dad's bed. Mom only got out of bed 4 times (aside from feedings) to check on her throughout the night. :)
-Emily loves to put her hands in her face and mouth.

Family Visi

We were lucky enough to have Corie's parents visit during Emily's birth (as you saw in the previous post), and Chris' mom visit after the birth. Here are some pictures from their time here, and a few more of our precious little girl.

Emily's Birthday!

At 10:18pm on November 4th, little Emily Carol Jones joined our family!! 7 pounds 14 ounces, 19.25 inches. She is the most precious thing alive, and we couldn't be happier with the new addition to our family! Here are a few pictures from her birth day and the hospital stay. There will be many more to come!
