Hangin' with the Joneses

Here's the other half of our trip to Seattle - our time spent with Chris' side of the family.

Lucky for us, Grandma and Grandpa Roush and the Montagues all came up to visit for the 4th of July!

We went to a 4th of July parade in Enumclaw (small town parade). They threw candy at us!!

There was even a patriotic llama! (Only in Enumclaw!)

Then we came home for the most complicated and difficult croquet game we've ever seen! Some of us just played in the shade.

That evening we had a wonderful feast and a spectacular fireworks show out on the sports court, followed by SMORES.

Emily also got to go to her first Mariner's game! Unfortunately they lost - but we still had fun.

We also went to the Seattle Aquarium. Emily and her cousins Molly and Kylee had matching rockstar outfits on!

Extremely overwhelemed

I've been trying to put together a post about our time in Seattle with pictures, but I keep getting overwhelmed. So much to talk about. So many photos. So I'm going to break it up into a couple posts.

We had lots of fun with the Schneider side of the family! Grandpa Paul and Oh Ma babysat while I went to a wedding. We also met lots of family that came in town for Uncle Cam's wedding! Here are a few pictures of the fun we had.

We helped Oh Ma paint the entry way and hall!

First taste of ice cream! Apparently she's not a fan of the cold. Once it melts, it's very delicious!

Catching up

I think I have about 10 posts worth of information and pictures to share. So I'm going to try to catch up from before the Seattle trip.

Emily loves water. In the bathtub, in the pool, from the faucet - she loves it all!! Going to the pool is quickly becoming one of our favorite activities. She does have 5 swimsuits, so we have to go frequently!

Lounging in the pool, chewing on daddy's thumb. Life doesn't get better than this.

The big pool is fun too!!

Back home

After 3 wonderful weeks in Seattle visiting family and friends, we are back in Maryland. Our time in Seattle was so great - busy, but great.

Highlights include:
-Cam's Wedding
-4th of July at the Jones'
-Brandon's wedding
-grilling at Golden Gardens
-finding out Tricia is PREGNANT
-finding out Keiko is pregnant
-Ezruli (Izzi) Fiona Collins was born
-Girltalk and teriyaki with Ash

Emily tried lots of new foods too! Cheerios, cuecumber, pickles, watermelon, cantelope, blueberries.

She now sits up on her own like a champ, has two big chompers (teeth), and can stick out her tongue and suck on a binky at the same time (serious skills now, huh?)

We have lots of pictures to come. But I wont get to posting them until next week. We have friends and family visiting through the end of the week.

:)
