Go Mariners!!!!

So today is opening day for baseball season! We decided to dig out our Mariners gear to cheer on our team.

Emily: Alright Ethan, this is how it goes. We sit here and smile and act cute and mom takes a million pictures then she lets us go play


Emily: Maybe I'll give you a snuggle like this. She loves this.


Emily: C'mon Ethan smile!

Emily: This is how she does it. If you cooperate it will go a lot faster.

Emily: Oh look - Grandpa T came downstairs!

No friday phone pics last week :(. I was kinda preoccupied with...ya know...packing 4 suitcases for 3 people for 6 months. I packed 2 sizes of clothes for Em and 3 sizes for Ethan. Sounds like fun, right? Packing is more difficult when 2 of the 3 of us will grow out of their current clothes while we're gone (hopefully not me!! haha).

But alas - we are packed and in Seattle! Chris left for Australia today - we already miss him tons! But hopefully we will be there soon! Waiting on passports so we can apply for visas.

Dance Class

Today was Emily's second-to-last dance class. I brought the camera to take some pictures. I'll try to take a few more next week.

This is the part of the class where the kids sit on the opposite side of the room from the parents...for a long time Emily refused to sit there if I wasn't with her. But she's been doing so well the past few weeks! She sits over there and waits her turn to come to me.

Friday Phone Pics - one day late

I spent Friday evening shopping. I had to finish off the kids' wardrobes because we're going to AUSTRALIA for six months!! It will be winter there, so we have to bring winter clothes. Before yesterday, all of Emily's 3T clothes were summer dresses. So I had to get pants and shirts for her. Both kids need pajamas. So it was a busy shopping trip!

Sadly - I didn't take very many pictures this week. We were so busy with playdates and activities around the house. This week and next week I am doing St. Patrick's day projects with Emily - so we will post pictures of those next Friday :).

This week Emily "helped" Chris rake the leaves in the back yard.


She realized that the leaves are fun to play in! It was this point where her "help" was no longer "helpful".

Neighbor Riley joined us on a walk to the park. On the way home he held Emily's hand while they crossed the roads. He's such a great neighbor!

Friday Phone Pics

We went to Borders because they were supposed to be celebrating Elmo's birthday from 2-5. However, they were actually celebrating his birthday at 2, and stopped around 4. So we missed it when we arrived after naps. :(. Emily still had fun playing in Borders.

She has always loved this thing - she never fought me when I had to use it on her as an infant. She was excited to discover Ethan's that I accidentally left out...:-/
